- Thank you for believing that expertise, relationships, and genuine caring still matter.
Every August, I find myself looking back for a moment before looking ahead. It’s our anniversary month after all, so it’s hard not to get a little nostalgic. When I started CIRE Travel in 2013, I thought I was building a travel agency. It was so early in my journey. How could I see the forest through the trees? Over the years, it dawned on me: We’re really building something so much more.
Making Complex Travel Feel Effortless
Yes, of course, we book flights, hotels, cruises, and extraordinary vacations. We handle complex business travel, touring, meetings, and all the moving parts and logistics that come with that.
But here’s the thing – that’s not really why our clients come to us.
They come to us because travel has changed. It’s become complicated. There are more choices, more websites, more loyalty programs, more emails, more reviews, more social media videos, and more decisions than ever before. Somewhere along the way, travel planning became less about excitement and more about managing information.
We’re all feeling it: decision fatigue. I’ll admit, even I experience it when I’m scrolling through the endless TV options on multiple streaming services and somehow feel exhausted before I’ve even picked something to watch! If choosing a 30-minute show can feel overwhelming, imagine trying to coordinate flights, hotels, transportation, activities, and the countless details that go into a meaningful trip.
The Value of a Trusted Travel Advisor
That’s where we come in. We tackle the choices for you. It’s our job to replace uncertainty with confidence. How, you ask? Oh, so many ways. We make it our job to know your favorite seat on your preferred airline and the type of hotel room that makes you happiest. We answer the phone when your flight is canceled or when your loved one is stressed about missing a connecting flight. We excel at calming your nerves by quietly making things easier during the most chaotic holiday seasons.
It’s never really been about travel. It’s about trust. Every member of our team understands that behind every reservation is a real person and a story that matters.
As we celebrate another anniversary, I don’t find myself thinking about how many years we’ve been in business. I find myself thinking about the thousands of people who have trusted us along the way.
That trust is something we’ll never take for granted.
